
R. Brad Coffey started his vocational rehabilitation career in 1989 at state agencies in Austin that served the visually impaired. He served as a job coach and job developer and eventually earned a masters degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling. Following his interests in the job placement process, he continued his vocational case management career in San Antonio, facilitating the suitable re-employment of industrially injured workers. His range of expertise grew from consulting on state workers’ compensation cases, to self-insured employers, to long-term disability cases, and to federal workers’ compensation cases. In 2001, Mr. Coffey began providing vocational expert services to the Social Security Disability Hearing Office. In addition to earning a second masters degree in business administration, he has since provided vocational consulting and expert testimony for several law firms, both plaintiff and defense.

As an experienced Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) in private practice, Mr. Coffey provides first-class, individualized re-employment services for persons with long-term medical restrictions. As a Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) and as a Certified Case Manager (CCM), Mr. Coffey effectively intervenes on each case, meeting the restorative needs of individuals, toward quality, cost-effective outcomes. As a Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE) and Registered Forensic Vocational Expert (FVE), Mr. Coffey conducts comprehensive evaluations of employability and lost earnings capacity, using peer-reviewed methodologies.
